Ok, Ok… I get the hype…I’m talking about Flat Iron. Have you been?

So I’ve known of Flat Iron for a long time now but until yesterday, I was still very much a Flat Iron virgin. Boy oh boy is it good. They have absolutely nailed their concept. Complimentary beef dripping popcorn to snack on whilst having a browse of the menu … yes please.

Small menu (obviously nailed absolutely everything!). £14 flat iron steak (recommended medium/rare) and cooked to absolute perfection. Their sides…homemade beef dripping chips, truffle mac and cheese, creamed spinach, crispy bone marrow garlic mash to name just a few. Just yum.

They have other options too, wagyu steak of the day – they have different cuts on different days, the triple cheese truffle burger (Judyta Buchta can vouch for this being delish!) and the Scottish bavette. Not to mention the free soft serve with chocolate sprinkles on your way out. That’s it Flat Iron, you now have my heart.

A steak lovers heaven. I will definitely be back VERY soon (may or may not already have a table booked).
