I remember when the OG Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana opened right here in Ancoats; paving the way for Neapolitan pizzerias across the city. Now, Greater Manchester alone has seven of ’em (and eight if you count Warrington, which I don’t and I won’t, but I could and I might but because it’s pretty close).

And don’t even get me started on Nell’s Pizza. They’re all about that big ‘za and cozy neighbourhood bars. Honestly, the best New York pizza outside o’ New York (and yes, still in Greater Manchester). Think huge, foldable, thin-crust beauties served in 14″ and 22″ discs of joy. Absolute madness. But also? Their social media is off the charts, they’re absolutely nailing it. BIG fan.

Can’t decide between doughy Neapolitan or no-flop NYC ‘za? No dramas. We’ve also got Leno at DIECAST, bringing us the almighty “NeoPan.” That’s right, Neapolitan meets NYC. (And it’s unreal).

The pizza scene here just keeps evolving—throw in Ramona with their killer Detroit-style pizzas (and arguably the best margaritas in Manc), and honestly, how do the pizza gods expect us to cope?!
