What you’ll get up to?
As Sous Chef you will:
- Be a significant part in the opening of this incredible business from kitchen set up to supporting the head chef on the recruitment of the team.
- Although you will be working to spec, you will still need to know how to cook – it’s a fully fresh food menu and full menu prep is done in house.
- Support the head chef in managing the daily kitchen operations to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely and in compliance with standards.
- Recruit, train, and develop your team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee food safety, health and safety, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to maintain profitability and meet financial goals.
- Work in close collaboration with the front of house teams to ensure smooth service
