Behaviour has always fascinated me.

Learning what makes other people think and behave the way they do; what drives them, how they perceive the world. This curiosity of people and their behaviour led me to study Psychology, Philosophy and Law. Carl Jung and his work had been explored during that time, but 14 years and a whole hospitality career later, I came across Insights Discovery.

I’d finally found a model that did the trick; using Jung’s work it explained personal experiences and perception, how this influences our preferences, and how they influence and become our behaviours. AND it went one step further… it taught me how to understand and adapt my own behaviours to build better relationships. It clicked.

I received my first Insights profile in early 2023 and a year later I was an Insights Practitioner – here’s why…

  • Understanding yourself is the first step toward building stronger relationships and achieving success in any professional setting. An Insights Discovery workshop provides this foundation by introducing you to their transformative four-colour energy model, based on the psychology of Carl Jung.
  • Each colour represents a distinct set of preferences, helping you uncover your strengths, communication style, and decision-making tendencies.
  • Becoming aware of dominant colour preferences improves self-awareness and allows for a greater understanding of how your preferences and tendencies impact your working relationships. More importantly, creating an appreciation for the strengths of the varying preferences in the team, whilst also identifying potential blindspots.
  • But the benefits don’t stop there… Insights Discovery goes far beyond self-awareness by fostering a deeper understanding of others. By learning to recognise and adapt to the colour energies of colleagues, teams can communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts efficiently, and work together harmoniously.

It’s truly a transformative workshop equipping you and your team with the tools to create stronger connections, boost collaboration, achieve better results-more efficiently.
