Let’s face it, one wrong move can feel heart-breaking. Sadly we talk to too many managers where promises haven’t been delivered or the ‘people culture’ talked up at an interview is well…..toxic. Not knowing whether an employer is who they say they are feels like a minefield. We love the idea of you having a recruitment buddy by your side.
Whether you get a role through us or not, we want to be a sounding board, a coach, an agony aunt or just someone to say ‘that sounds like a great move’ or ‘are you sure you have thought this through?’.
Job hunting is hard work.
It’s lonely and it’s daunting. The knock backs can really affect your confidence – at a time when one thing you need in confidence. How does my CV look? What exactly should be on it? How do I sell myself on paper? All great questions – that everyone has an opinion on. And then of course come the interviews. What should I wear? What will they ask? Should I mention that or not?. All questions we LOVE answering.
We want to be different.
Sadly, in terms of experience, agency recruiters get the worst testimonial. Calling you with a job to sell, even though they don’t know your story or what you are looking for, attempting to convince you into something that isn’t right, calling about something way off the mark, sending your CV without your permission, being bombarded when you are happy at work. Let me tell you, we have heard it all.
The difficulty about being different is that everyone says they are different. So I guess it’s hard to know how different a service is until you have given it a whirl? That’s where our lockers come in.
